Bio

I am an enthusiastic educator with more than 17 years working as a mathematics and history teacher. More importantly, I am Bilingual (English/Spanish) which has allowed me to reach an extended audience of learners. Determined and passionate with excellent capabilities in building student rapport, teacher development, and educating in complex subject matter. I have also served in the private sector as an educator/trainer in adult education settings. One of my primary responsibilities was to serve as a Trainer of Trainers in Adult Ed. I am ready to take my skills to the next challenge and discover more about instructional design and technology.

Education

Crimson runs through my blood. I graduated with my under graduate and MBA from TAMIU. I followed it up by earning an M. Ed. Educational Technology and Instructional Design from Texas A&M, College Station.

Employment

I have been a Math and History teacher for the past 17 years while also exploring a different career path that took me into the Oil Industry where I worked flow/back and conducted safety trainings as well. I have loved watching my students grow and love learning but it is time for me to apply my Instructional Design skills. I am looking forward to creating Instructional Design Models that will allow me to show case my talents as an Instructional Designer and Technology Developer for both traditional and virtual/mobile learning.
